What's a TeachMeet?
TeachMeets are informal gatherings of (originally) teachers, designed to allow the sharing of ideas. Library TeachMeets are for librarians who teach! Find out more about the history of Library TeachMeets in the article "TeachMeet: Librarians learning from each other" by Niamh Tumelty, Isla Kuhn and Katie Birkwood.

Learn something new, be amazed, amused and enthused. This is an informal gathering of those curious about libraries, learning, teaching and education. Anyone can share great ideas they've used in their library, ask important questions or simply sign up to take part in learning conversations.
You can have the floor for 10 minutes to present to colleagues some creative and inspiring suggestions. You are invited to present (via powerpoint / prezi / talk / bingo / drawing / anything) for 10 minutes on the theme. Time is your only limit.
Grab a bite and a brew from us from 10.30am and lunch is included in the event. We go through until 2pm.
Please let us know if you have any dietary requirements.
Come and join the fun! Best wishes, Eleanor Johnston, Staffordshire University
